On Thursday, December 7th, Big I CNY board director Jacquie Kaden presented at the annual Big I NY InVEST field trip. The field trip brings students from four area high schools (Groton, McGraw, Dryden & Cazenovia) to Big I NY to learn about the many different career paths in the insurance industry.
Jacquie shared her experience as an independent insurance agent with the students. She told them it’s an exciting industry that allows you to give back to the community every day. Students also learned about underwriting, claims, product management, marketing and actuaries.
InVEST is a nationwide program that exposes students about the great opportunities of a career in insurance.
