Monday, June 22nd | Timber Banks
Despite a very rainy day, the 2026 Big I CNY Golf Tournament at Timber Banks was another successful event, bringing together members and industry partners for a day of golf, networking, and friendly competition while raising funds for local charities.
A highlight of the day was Dan Peo of McRorie-Peo Agency (New Hartford) scoring a hole-in-one and winning $15,000. The first person in the history of the Big I CNY Golf Tournament and all of Timber Banks Tournaments!
Tournament winners included Craig Sestir (50/50 Tee Shot), Joe Putney (Closest to the Pin, 5'3"), Jason Gosney (Longest Drive Men), Carrie Shaw (Longest Drive Women), the second-place team of Joe Putney, Joe Zinni, Mike Crowley, and Nick Masterpole (-11), and the first-place team of Jeff Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Jason Gosney, and Brett Bushinger (-15).
The event concluded with the installation of the 2026-2027 Big I CNY Officers and Directors.
As tournament proceeds are donated to local charities, members are encouraged to send charity recommendations to Allison Just for consideration by the Board.

Big I CNY Gives Back
$25,000 Raised for Central New York Charities
We love seeing our local associations shine. Big I CNY recently joined Bridge Street to share how our members continue to give back to the Central New York community year after year. From raising more than $205,000 through their annual golf tournament to supporting local charities with winter gear donations, this is what true community impact looks like.
That impact was on full display this morning, January 14, at Big I CNY’s annual charity check presentation breakfast, where $25,000 was distributed to 20 local charities making a difference right here at home.
Huge thanks to Mike Crowley and Jacquie Kelly Kaden for helping share Big I CNY’s story and charitable mission. Take a few minutes to watch the video and see the incredible work our members are doing in the community.
